Working with Benilli
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about bringing senior technology expertise into the business for a decision, a delivery or an ongoing relationship.
What kind of organisations do you work with?
Benilli mainly works with owner-led, growing and specialist businesses whose website, operational tools or workflows have become limiting. The common thread is a real business problem that needs senior technical thinking and hands-on delivery.
Do you only build websites?
No. A website is often only the visible part of the system. Work can include internal tools, ecommerce workflows, integrations, cloud infrastructure, automation, data movement and practical AI, as well as customer-facing websites.
Can you improve an existing system, or does everything need rebuilding?
Existing systems are reviewed before a rebuild is recommended. If a targeted repair, integration or process change is the sensible answer, that is where the work starts. Rebuilding is appropriate only when the current foundations genuinely prevent a reliable result.
What happens in the initial review?
We discuss the current system, the people who use it, the points of friction or risk, and the outcome the business needs. The aim is to establish scope, constraints and the smallest useful next step—not to prescribe technology before understanding the problem.
How much does a project cost?
Cost depends on the system, risk and level of involvement. After an initial conversation, Benilli will normally suggest a clearly bounded discovery, review or delivery phase with the scope and commercial basis set out before work begins.
How long does a project take?
Small reviews and focused improvements may take days or a few weeks. Larger platform and workflow builds are delivered in visible increments over a longer period. A realistic sequence and decision points are agreed once the existing system and dependencies are understood.
Can you provide ongoing technical support?
Yes. Benilli can remain involved as a hands-on technical partner for operation, maintenance, architecture and future improvements. The right arrangement depends on how critical the system is and how much support the internal team needs.
Who owns the finished work?
Ownership, licences, access and handover are made explicit in the proposal or agreement. The intention is that clients are not left dependent on unexplained systems or inaccessible accounts.
Do you work with an existing team or suppliers?
Yes. Benilli can work directly with owners and leadership or alongside designers, developers, agencies, operations teams and existing technology providers. Responsibilities and interfaces are clarified early so work does not disappear between suppliers.
Do you use AI in every project?
No. AI is used only where it produces a clear and responsible operational benefit. Straightforward software, automation or a better process is often the stronger answer.
How do we start?
Send a short email describing the system, what is not working and what you would like to achieve. You do not need a technical specification—the first conversation is there to make the problem clearer.
Still have a question?
A short description of the current system and the problem is enough to begin.
